The Neighbors On The Go 2010 area.

Your Neighbors On The Go area includes these boundaries: West Broadway, west of Stadium Blvd., the southern tip of Hulen Dr., and Conventry Ct./Smoky Mountain Ct.

Why was my neighborhood chosen?

With plenty of biking- and walking-friendly streets, nearby recreation venues, easy access to the Columbia Transit red line, and close proximity to everyday destinations - like grocery stores and pharmacies - the Neighbors On The Go 2010 program is sure to help more and more people in your area get out and about in ways they never may have thought about before.

Why walk or bike?

Besides being fun, walking and biking to get from here to there gives you the chance to see your neighborhood in a whole new way. And they’re two of the cleanest, most energy-efficient forms of transportation around.

What are some benefits of walking and biking?

Replacing one, short car trip with a walk or a bike ride can save you time and money any day of the week. Plus, that extra bit of activity can actually increase your energy level, making you feel good and be more productive.

Things to know before getting out and about:

  • Walk on sidewalks when you can or walk facing oncoming traffic when you can’t.
  • Ride in the same direction as traffic and use hand signals.
  • Carry a flashlight and try to stay in well-lit areas at night.
  • Always wear a bike helmet and use lights at night - white in front, red in back.
  • Wear reflective or light-colored clothing.
